Free sundaes from Chick-fil-A in East Point

Supporting local talent can be so sweet.

The Chick-fil-A restaurant on Cleveland Avenue will give away free fudge brownie and cookie sundaes at its “So You Think You Can Dance” viewing party on Wednesday from 8 to 10 p.m. Cyrus Spencer, a top-20 finalist on the show, is the nephew of franchise operator Cynthia InnMan.

Show up to meet the Chick-fil-A cow and root for local dancers. No purchase necessary; limit one dessert per guest. Chick-fil-A. 1065 Cleveland Ave., East Point. 404-762-1333.

Chick-fil-A opened a location on Cleveland Avenue????

REALLY?

I thought they tried to stick to relatively safe communities in which to open locations.

I fear this event will end up on the 11 PM television news… and not in a positive way.

Hi Kevlar, that location has been open for at least a decade and since this seems to be your first time hearing about it, that pretty much blows your assumptions of what will happen out the water.

@Kevlar,
Actually that location is one of Chick-fil-A ’s top earning locations. Please do your research and know your facts before making ignorant, untruth statements. I live in Fayetteville but work near this location and frequent it weekly for breakfast or lunch and it is always full of customers, great service and clean. I work in a building with about 200 workers so they get a lot of business from us. We support this location all the way!!!!

I always love a good bargain, but this is Atlanta.

Why are we reading about freebies in Cleveland?

@Tracy ~ Thanks for being an awesome Chick-fil-A Raving Fan EVERY DAY! Chick-fil-A strives to serve ALL guests and the surrounding communities the same at every location…Your research is correct. Cynthia (the Owner/Operator) is one of CFA’s BEST! She and her staff serve the East Point community each and every day with Honor, Dignity and Respect. They create an environment that makes all feel welcomed! I’ve witnessed it first hand.
@Kevlar – reading is fundamental, do your research before you make inappropriate & ignorant comments. Why be so negative about such a good idea to give back to the community? No matter what community it is. BTW – This CFA has been open since 1997 and does an amazing job every day SERVING!
Maybe you should expand your “horizons” and try them out for lunch or dinner sometime – You might just find out that the folks in the community are the same as you. They may have a different skin color, but they are the same as YOU. And EVERYONE deserves to be treated with HONOR, DIGNITY & RESPECT. Show some next time you decide to write such a negative comment about a good deed.
Chick-fil-A for LIFE!

Also for all you new comers, before they expanded to the larger location there was a smaller CONSTANTLY busy store down by the adult club. I personally love Cynthis to death and this isn’t the only thing she’s done for the community she brings in Santa’s, has Easter Egg hunts, movie night, family picture days. Her staff is always polite and well mannered. On rare occasions when they make a mistake they don’t mind admitting it and making it right. Oh and those comment cards they do pay attention to them in staff meetings. I no longer live in East Point anymore but that is still the store I go to. Cynthis and Staff Rock!

@CFA Raving Fan…
And EVERYONE deserves to be treated with HONOR, DIGNITY & RESPECT. I agree with you, and EVERYONE includes gay couples who wish to marry. Something that CFA does not support and in fact advocates against. Maybe you should expand your “horizons” and realize that love makes a family. And of course CFA welcomes EVERYONE, or should I say welcomes everyone’s money.

Aren’t we perpetuating a very negative social stereoptype by talking about how a restaurant serving primarily “fried chicken” products doing record business in a community like Southwest Atlanta?

Can’t we all just be friends?

It is Southeast atl/ EAST Point. Glad to hear the are doing well. I stop there when I am in the area because it is an oasis in a desert as far as clean, appealing restaurants go. Keep up the good work. As a libertarian, I don’t care who marries whom, but I will also defend Mr. C’s right to state his opinion and promote it in his PRIVATELY owned establishments. He didn’t say he wouldn’t sell them a sandwich.
