Amazing how many lights, switches, sensors, wire harnesses, thrust arms and bushings, and motor mounts had to be replaced on my wife’s Mercedes E350 by 100K. My good’ol American truck about the same engine size (costing one half) went 177K in 10 years and had minor infrequent trouble and much less scheduled maintenance. Go figure. Luckily we choose the 100K warranty. It’’s hard to put a dollar figure on time taken and frustration experienced getting a car fixed. Is time spent and Advil taken calculated as a cost?
