Jessica Shops: Material Girl, style tips and winter closeout

A material world

Material Girl at Macy’s: Wild prints are hot this spring and leave it to Madonna to lead the pack on this trend. She and daughter Lourdes have made another splash with the latest from their popular Material Girl line, exclusive to Macy’s, both in store and online. Now many of these coveted items are finally starting to go on sale. My favorite pieces are the bright, colorful tops in feminine fabrics. The dolman printed chiffon top was $30, now just $20.99. The Fringe Ikat Print top retails at $26 and is now $19.99 and the tribal print tiered zippered tank was $28 and is now $19.99. Prices subject to change.

Ready, set, style

Blowouts & Bubbly: Mark your calendars for the next Blowouts & Bubbly event on April 20 at Dragonfly the Salon, where guests will enjoy creative cocktails and nibbles while top stylists provide blow outs and styling tips for $10 (regularly $50 and up). Spots are limited to 25 guests and must be booked ahead of time. Guests must share the love and bring one buddy who has never been to the salon before. To reserve a spot, call 404-815-6702.

Short on cash?

Wet Seal: Summer heat is just around the corner so now is the time to stock up on warm-weather clothes. Wet Seal has lots of options at affordable prices, especially with 40 percent off all its clearance items. Or, grab some colorful, casual tie-front shorts for $12.50 (other shorts styles are around $25).
