It’s back, and just as romantic as ever.
Waffle House is once again accepting Valentine’s dinner reservations for multiple locations in the metro area. And yes, some of these restaurants will book completely during normal dinner hours. It’s a great place to have a low-key, no-stress, middle-of-the-week dinner with your sweetie — tablecloth and candlelight included. Click here to view all participating locations or to make reservations.

Somehow, I’m having a little difficulty associating dinner reservations to Waffle House. Will there be a metre de? Will jacket and tie be required? Will the wine selections be top shelf or from the cook’s bathtub?

A metre is a poem. A maitre d’ is what you’re speaking of.

Will there also be a cardiologist on site who will be taking reservations?

Isn’t a bit a ironic that a place serving food that is so bad for the HEART will be so fervently celebrating Valentine’s Day?

@Ole Guy: “Somehow, I’m having a little difficulty associating dinner reservations to Waffle House. Will there be a metre de?” Somehow, I’m having a lot of difficulty associating you with intelligent thought. Hmmm…

To curious george: yes the Waffle House has some stuff on the menu that is not great for the heart, but they also have very healthy stuff as well, pretty much like any other restaurant. Take your high and mighty attitude elsewhere.

Dear The Tisssssssss:
Why so grumpy?
Do you have a gas leak?
Are you upset because you are not going to be getting any on Valentine’s Day?

Wifey said she had special place for dinner last year, was Waffle House in Acworth on Cobb Pkwy. It was great, took our picture when we entered and received copy during dinner, seated at table with white table cloth, flower on table, red light shades, could order from set menu or regular menu, same great Waffle House service. One VD dinner to remember.

Hey Curious George….sounds like you’re the one that is grumpy and a kill-joy. Lighten up, bro’, it’s all good! Sounds like a lot of good old fashion fun to me…I’ll be there, and I’ll eat steak & eggs. I’m sure your cardiologist would frown on this, but I need to vary from my usual vegan regimen every now & then.

Ease up, Kat…just a’funin’! I think George got you peged. I’ve warmed a few seats at Waffle Houses; I have no complaints whatsoever.
Kat, perhaps you would do yourself a big favour by remembering the sign on the outhouse wall: NEVER TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY! Happy Val…
