Plus $12.50/ticket service charge, plus $7 shipping, per Cavalia’s site, a site which tells you it’s in Atlanta, but not where in Atlanta, at least not on the ‘prices and seating chart’ page. It would be nice to know what venue I’m looking at as I peruse the seating chart. Beyond bizarre.

Even “driving directions”, the only place I can find a hint of a venue, doesn’t name the location. Just the address. Couple blocks north of Tech. What is that? Fulton Co. Public Library?

As I dig for info, appears this show is in a tent in a parking lot. Interesting. Especially for $90+.

If you haven’t driven through downtown in a while, I guess you haven’t seen it. The Cavalia tent has been up for quite some time, and it’s BIG.

It is at spring/8th. They set up temporary tents for their shows.

Bob is NOT the problem of course. It’s always someone or something else that’s the problem. The only problem Bob has is making comments detrimental to Cavalia based on ignorance. Thank you, thank you very much.

Uhm, Bob, if you’re not familiar with the Cavalia shows… it’s a horse show. You don’t have a show with a dozen horses galloping around at the Fox.
I took my wife (who grew up working on a horse farm) to the original show, and paid for the full VIP experience. It was worth EVERY PENNY! It was the best entertainment experience of our lives. If you have any chance to go to this, try and make it!!!

We saw it last week, it was worth every penny of full price. It’s impossible to fully describe, but think Cirque du Soleil with horses. 70 horses. And it is located in a huge tent at 8th and Spring in midtown (across from the Cheetah, just north of Tech Square). The tent itself is a marvel.

Are the horses real or are the cirque du soleil people acting like horses?

Bob – It’s the big, white tent on the east side of the downtown connector – Spring Street, a couple blocks south of there Cirque is usually set up (looks like the same tent). Can’t miss it. Then, when it’s over, a short walk to the Cheetah Club, where you can have a beer sew your wild oats.

Wait – trained horses… Can I expect a PETA demonstration outside like at B&B Circus?? Or will the occupy crowd be there trying to get under a waterproof tent?

gatorsc1 – you must be elephant sized, the seats are just as big as the Fox or any other venue, and the venue makes no difference, the same tent moves from city to city. I’ve never heard anyone complain about the size of the seats.
I'm not the problem either

This is our second show. We saw them the last time they were here and will never miss a future show. It is simply incredible! My husband who knows nothing about horses loves this show. The tent is even hard to describe. So professional, So nice, and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. We love going to the stables afterwards, but that is an additional cost. But well worth it.

Just go to http://www.goldstar.com, enter an email address and zip code and the Odysseo deal pops right up, it took 90 seconds for me to order two gold tickets for $98 each, it’s a great deal and easy to use. BTW all ticket sites require you to register and submit and email…so that did not deter me.

I visited the site, and the ticket prices are not discounted. I called the toll-free number, 1-800-866-999-8111 and it was confirmed, there are no discounted tickets. They asked where I got the information from and apologized for the misinformation I had received.

No wonder so many people are losing their homes to foreclosure. Paying 100 per person to see some man in tights wear a horse in a tent is stupid.

I saw Cavalia in Texas 6 yrs ago. All of it “under tents” It was a brithday present so my son got us VIP.
AWESOME and a show I’ll never forget. Got to go back and see horses, had champagne and great appetizers etc and great seats for show. We even met the proformers and I got ALL of their autographs!
