Maybe you purposely avoided Black Friday’s mayhem. Or you still have holiday shopping to do. Either way, here are ways to prepare for Monday’s online version of Black Friday:
– Join the club: Sign up for email alerts from stores to get the scoop on sales. Or follow them on Facebook or Twitter for up-to-date info.
– Try out electronics: Test-drive electronics this weekend in stores. Decide which phone is the most user-friendly, or which TV has the best picture, so when it comes time to get the online deal, you’ll purchase with confidence.
– Rise and shine: Plan to shop early if you’re gunning for a particular item. Some sales start as soon as midnight Sunday night, if not earlier, so check websites in advance.
– Save on shipping: Most retailers will offer a form of free shipping. Best Buy, L.L. Bean and Nordstrom are among retailers offering free shipping without a minimum purchase.
– Use promo codes: Search for them on sites like RetailMeNot.com, CouponCabin.com and BradsDeals.com.

Based upon the stories posted earlier…….Just how close are we from flinging our feces at each other? What’s real sad is you, Lauren contribute to this by blogging about the sales, parking and traffic.
Certainly, you have better things to do.

Electronic cigs…just another example of the artificial, technology-enhanced world we have created.
Remember those “good ole days” when:
* People stopped smoking the “ole fashioned” way…THEY QUIT!
* When people wanted to talk among themselves, they gathered at common meeting spots and spoke. Now, kids, as part of their “necessary equipment”, have cell phones which do everything but the laundry.
* Remember when a guy’s favorite pastime involved activities in search of the female gland? Bar hoping and “beach maneuvers” ranked high on the list of “things to do” on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday…Night. Now it’s simply “tap a few keys, go to the right site…”, presto! Might as well go back to the inflatodolls of yesteryear.
