If you’ve watched any TV lately, you probably already have your favorite Black Friday commercial.
This one from Walmart made me laugh out loud:
But there’s also the slew of Target’s 2-Day sale spots. I love this one because this is kind of what the Bargain Hunter position feels like at this time of year:
Hmmm. It’s obvious who the intended audience is, isn’t it?
Do you have a favorite Black Friday commercial? Have you seen any advertising you think is particularly clever?

I love the Target ones! Every time she runs across the screen in her red jumpsuit, I crack up!

None, especially the obnoxious woman on the Kohl’s ad. Her singing and the tune of the song are worse than fingernails on a chalkboard.

Anytime someone can incorporate Rocky IV into their commercial it will be a success.

I think the Target lady is seriously scary. I think Target could have gotten someone better than she. I like the WalMart ad when the lady is looking at the TV and the salesperson walked up and she told him to hush and he said he’d leave her alone with the TV.

I HATE the Target commercial with the seriously scary lady. Target could have done soooo much better than that. I turn the channel each time it comes on. So annoying!

I LOVE the Target lady. I even like her ‘ad spots’ on the internet where she makes a snowman out of the Play button or is waving at you to click on it. I hate the Kohl’s commercial with the singing lady who steals something out of another customer’s shopping cart; I seriously don’t think Kohl’s would want to condone this behavior.

I have modest ‘wishes’ and of all the days of the year to shop–the day after Thanksgiving is not the day for me,. The Target ad is annoying and I change channels. I cannot recall the details of Macy’s ads but there are many of them and subliminally I know that whatever Macy’s has –it is good and I need to go. lol

It’s amazing how the Target commercial evokes such strong responses — you either love it or hate it.

I agree – the Walmart ad is the best. Boom! We actually backed it up a couple of times to watch it again this morning during the parade.

What about the Justin Bieber Macy’s commercial where the cab driver, warehouse guys and doorman all scream like 10 year old girls when he walks by and talks to them. Too funny! I LOVE the Walmart Boom commercial too.

I’m the only female in my house, yet the Justin Bieber Macy’s commercial elicited the loudest laughter in my house-from my husband.

That Target woman is not only scary, she is seriously psychotic. It is obvious what their target market is! Why they think that will drive business is beyond me, but I am definitely not their target market.
