A good deli lunch should taste like it came straight out of your picnic basket, which is why I like Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches. Simple, fresh ingredients on tasty bread is enough to make you want to pull out the red and white checkered blanket.
And today you can score the first six sandwiches on the menu for only $1. (I prefer No. 6, the Vegetarian.)
Warning: You cannot send your co-worker on a sandwich run for the office. Only one $1 sandwich per person. Valid today only from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Click here for participating locations and other stipulations.

I know JJs delivers but not everywhere. Why can’t they have $1 dinner deal for those who can’t leave the office and can’t get delivery???

I really like vegetarian food. A good resataurant serving vegetarian is hard to find. $1.00 is quite a low price for a sandwhich. I remember when I wAs stationed at Ft. Benning, White Castle sold hamburgers for $1.00 a dozen. I like all those private clubs like the Chickasaw Club. and the Columbus Hotel and Phenix City. I wonder if it has changed since 1960?

I have never heard of JJ’s before. My wife is working from home today and we were talking about going for lunch somewhere. Maybe I’ll go try them. I mean for a buck a piece………….
Thanks for the heads up Lauren.

JJ’s is great…they have them all over the place here in Chicago and a few months ago, while visiting my family back in GA, I noticed they had opened one up near where I grew up off of PIB…nothing fancy about the place, just good sandwiches made with fresh ingredients for a reasonable price (well, EXCEPTIONAL price for $1)….

J.J.’S in downtown Decatur is awesome! All of their sandwiches are great. A sub for a $1.00 just makes it better.

I remember years ago, we fished at Clark Hill Resivoir and there was an old lady at one of the boat docks who made pimento or bolonga, or pbj sandwiches for $1.00 each. There was nothing like bass fishing at daylight with a pbj and a cold PBR for breakfast. THOSE WERE THE DAYS!

Wow, a buck a sub and asshat Jimmy complains about waiting for 30 minutes? What did you expect? And why didn’t you check your sub before you left you ingrate? Oh wait, don’t tell me, it was your FIRST time doing take out and since YOU are perfect, so is everybody else, right?
We didn’t go because I didn’t want to wait and figured there would be a LONG wait lol. But I appreciate their generosity and will try them another time. Nice promotion.
