Black Friday predictions
Consumer site DealNews just released its price predictions for Black Friday a full 70 days in advance of the retail circus. The predictions reflect the lowest price on Blu-ray players, laptops and other electronics the company expects consumers to see this holiday season — especially on Black Friday itself.
Some of its predictions include:
- a 55-inch 1080p LCD HDTV for $549
- 5 to 10 percent off iMac and MacBook computers
- a Kindle 3 WiFi eBook reader for $99
- a Blu-ray player with Netflix support for $45

I bet everything goes even lower once retailers realize nobody has the money they used too. One offshoot of the rich getting richer is that the poor get poorer and don’t have the money to buy the things the rich are selling.
