If you’ve been paying attention this month, then you already know multiple retailers — Walmart, Amazon, Target and others — are offering free holiday shipping deals, sometimes with a minimum purchase.
But for other stores, your best bet is free shipping day on Friday. More than 60 percent of the vendors listed on Free Shipping Day will offer free shipping and handling on all orders and assure delivery by Dec. 24. (The website is also equipped with a countdown, for those of us who get excited about that sort of thing.)
Participating stores include:
Now you can tell people you’re not procrastinating about buying gifts; you’re just waiting for the best deal.

I don’t mind paying for shipping. What I’d like is free merchandise.

Thanks for the head’s up on this, Lauren! Anyone know where to find good deals on NFL and NCAA gear besides? I’ve looked at NFLShop.com and the NCAA’s website but the merchandise is pretty expensive. Just need a few team’s polo shirts.

Just tried to order from Sears using their free shipping code, and it said that the code was not valid for what I was purchasing.
