Black Friday doorbusters in Atlanta

It’s the biggest shopping week of the year for us bargain hunters, and if you haven’t started scoping out stores yet, now’s the time! Sites including Black Friday 2010 and Black Friday info will give you a leg up if you haven’t checked them out. Here’s a roundup of some of the best deals out there, along with opening/sale times for stores.

Getting out there early? The forecast is for cold, wet weather so start your shopping off with a free coffee from any Atlanta RaceTrac gas station (12 a.m.-10 a.m.) or from any Burger King (breakfast hours only).

Best Buy (opens at 5 a.m.): Doorbusters include:

● Sony Vaio 15.5″ Laptop w/Intel Dual-Core Processor, 3GB Memory, 320GB Hard Drive for $399.99

The Disney store (opens at midnight): Get 20 percent off any item in the store until 10 a.m. (some exclusions apply)

JCPenney (4 a.m.-1 p.m.)

Get 65% off coats, a 1 Carat T.W. diamond ring for $79.99, 75% off gold and silver jewelry, and a 5-piece Protocol luggage set for $38.88

K-mart (5 a.m.- 9 p.m.)

Office Depot (6 a.m.): Grab a Lenovo 15.6″ Laptop w/2GB RAM, 250GB HD with Windows 7 for $279.99, a Magellan RoadMate 3045 4.7″ Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator for $99.99 or a Garmin nuvi 1300 4.3″ GPS for $99.99. All DVDs will be priced at $4.

Office Max (7 a.m.): Look here if you need a digital camera, a Garmin nuvi 1300 4.3″ GPS for $99.99, a Brother HL-2240 Laser Printer for $49.99 or 50% off Sony CDs and DVDs.

Old Navy (12:01 a.m.): Check it out if you’re looking for babies and kids clothing, 50% off women’s and men’s outerwear or clearance casualwear. Old Navy is also offering a free Dance Central Kinect game for XBox 360 with any $25 purchase.

Sears (4 a.m.): Big items include a Zenith 42″ Plasma HDTV for $399.99, a Samsung 40″ LCD HDTV for $497.99 and a Kenmore 4.0 Cu. Ft. Washer and 7.3 Cu. Ft. Dryer for $599.98.

Staples (6 a.m.): Get a HP 20″ Widescreen LCD Monitor for $99.98, an HP 15.6″ Laptop w/AMD II Dual-Core P340 Processor, 4GB RAM, and a 500GB hard drive for $399.98.

Target (4 a.m.): Deals of the day include a Westinghouse 40″ LCD HDTV for $298, a TomTom GPS System for $79, and an Apex 46″ LCD HDTV for $449.

Walmart (midnight): Check out the Apple 8GB iPod Touch with a $50 Walmart Gift Card for $225, the Emerson 32″ 720p LCD HDTV for $198, or a Machines 15.6″ Notebook w/Intel Processor, 2GB Memory and 250GB Hard Drive for $198.

so will the Old Navy in the Mall of Georgia open at 12am for Black Friday?? I thought the mall of Georgia would’t open until 5am… Does that mean their stores won’t open til 6am as well??
