Save on Atlanta Falcons tickets

Deion Sanders, who wowed Atlanta Falcons fans with his blistering speed and Prime Time play, will be inducted into the Falcons’ Ring of Honor on Nov. 11. You can save up to $21 per seat for that game, as they pay homage to No. 21 during the game against the Baltimore Ravens at the Georgia Dome. Sanders’ number will be retired. The same $21 savings is available for the Nov. 7 game against Tampa Bay. There is no special promotional code for the discounted rate; ticket prices are simply a bit less than those for other select games.

We are honoring a kook who has done nothing but cast bridge-burning remarks since his departure–why?

Because he is one of the best players to have ever played the game. Hands down, point, blank, period.

@ Thanks for nothing…The Ticketmaster prices are discounted. If you compare the prices listed for this game to those of other Falcons games, you’ll see the rates are different (as in up to $21 lower).

This http://tickets.atlantafalcons.com/365-promo-pack/1551/ is actually a much better deal.

$92.50 for two tickets.

With your deal, the final costs after fees is $97.30.

@ Thanks Good option if that’s the seating level you want. The best option, if it is available, is probably to avoid Ticketmaster fees altogether and purchase them at the Georgia Dome box office.

To the Deion haters just don’t go. It is not like you have done anything remotely similar in your pathetic life. Always negativity you folks have to generate in this world. Don’t you get tired of it everyday?

The Falcons have to be blamed for being so stupid. They are honoring a player that conned them to leave. Dion told them if you will remove the tag from me, so I can see what I am worth, then I will resign with you.

why do white people in Ga always have a problem honoring others with their contributions to our sports team. Especially black athletes. And yes it’s always a black and white thing in Ga. You guys want to destroy Vick like he raped and killed your children, but no one says anything about the sexual predator Big Ben…………… go figure!!!!!!!!!! Undercover racism perhaps?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I”m surprised, even though Deion was one of if not the best cornerbacks in history. He didn’t really play that long with the Falcons. But congratulations goes out. I’ll be there.

Based on his comments about Atlanta and the Falcons since he left I couldn’t believe the team did this. He was a great player but they could give me a ticket and I wouldn’t show up. I refuse to honor someone who went to such lengths to insult my team.

I don’t give a crap what color he is ATLER ! It is quite clear you are the racist.
Deion is a great athelete, but he DOES NOT deserve to be in the Falcon ring of honor.
After today, it’s the ring of dis-honor.

Folks, I have no issues debating whether Deion Sanders should be in the Ring of Honor. But race doesn’t have anything to do with this conversation. Please remain civil and respectful.

To the Deion haters….either you’re not old enough to have witnessed his exploits on the field, or you don’t recognize that minority players have had to market themselves because they don’t fit the profile of the agencies on Madison Ave. Those who have no appreciation for Deion, probably also lack appreciation for Muhammad Ali. These guys never had substance abuse problems or off-the-field run-ins with the law. After a Falcon history of Black players like Ken Reeves and Claude Humphrey not having received their appropriate recognition, the Arthur Blank Falcons should be applauded not just for their cultural sensitivity, but for doing the right thing.

I’m white and used to be a huge Michael Vick fan! Now I could care less about him. He’s paid his debt, but I don’t have to like him anymore…he was a fraud. Matty Ice is a true pro and he seems like a good, honest dude with lots of integrity.

Oh yeah, Big Ben R is a scumbag and I’ve never liked his block-headed a$$.

Where is the discount? $62 for upper deck tickets in the corner??? Are you kidding me? I’ll spend my money on hockey to watch the Atlanta Thrashers who have 4 black players, thank you very much. Plenty of diversity in hockey without the a$$holes and inflated egos!

He doesn’t deserve it, he played here for what, six seasons? And even when he was here, his teams never accomplished anything. And let’s not forgetnhow he forced his way out, then taunted us for years.

Dumb move the Falocns, this cheapens the honor. If Deion is deserving, then so is Vick.

Poor @Atler… tiny brains always have to play the race card if someone has a dissenting opinion. Hank Aaron & Dominique Wilkins are absolutely adored in this town. At the 2000 AllStar game here in Atlanta, Fred McGriff was the only player to receive a standing O during introductions (and he wasn’t even with the Braves!).

Not only does Deion not deserve to be in – I’ll be just as angry if they ever try to enshrine the pathetic Keith Brooking. Acording to tiny-brained Atler, guess that makes me a double-racist.

As a football fan and a Falcons band-wagoneer I must say that I do not see the DS/Atl connection. He was not a long-timer. He was simply for sale at the end of career to the price he could get/ the ring most likely/ and the EA sport/nike money for wearing certain uniforms.

This really speaks to the lack of true super stars the Falcons have ever had and a desperate desire from Arthur to make the “ring” relevant.

I really don’t get it.

@ATLER I’m white and I think Big Ben is a scumbag rapo. I never did like his looks. As far as Vick, he’s a bit sub-human, but he’s paid his dues and deserves to play again, and he is playing again, although he will never be a great NFL QB, I said so back when he was being hyped to the moon and I say so now, and I’m correct now as then.

Neon Deon……………….Primeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee was the best player in Falcons history based on Athleticism, Marketing, Personality….He should have played two for the falcons his whole career. On top of that he played two way for the falcons and braves….I am 35 and still whole two his two upperdeck cards as the best ever…falcons uniform to baseball stealing a base. Prime Time also a great wife. He knew how to market himself, but at the same time had substance. Prime Time if youre in Tampa the next year look me up, Ill volunteer and give a speech. sunilpatel325@gmail.com

Rolland Lawrence deserves this type of honor a thousand times more than Neon. RL was the best DB in the history of our franchise. The trouble is the hip-hop crowd has no clue who he is – so Blank panders to the masses.

Sorry…Prime Time was a terrific DB but his years of service with the Falcons do not justify being recognized in Falcons’ “Ring Of Honor”…this was a bad idea that should have been scuttled by the adults….I hear the LA Rams are considering adding Joe Namath to their HOF, as are the AZ Cardinals with Emmet Smith, as are the Seahawks with Jerry Rice, as are the Jets with Brett Favre, as are the Chargers, Eagles and Packers with Jim McMahon, as are the Redskins with Bruce Smith…..Perhaps the Braves will induct Prime Time in their HOF next summer….Just an idea…

Sanders was picked as the 31st best player in NFL history. I’m not aware that any other Falcon players were on the Top 100…

Ring of Honor? I don’t know if this makes sense but he was a great player.

Sanders might have been one of the greatest players and Falcons of all time, but honorable? No way. This guy screwed the Falcons over so much while he was in town…….would rather see Jumpy Geathers or Michael Haynes be inducted.

People stop fighting and think about this. Deion will presumably be put in the Hall of Fame next year. This is Arthur Blank’s way of securing that he goes in as a Falcon! And Pompano while Rolland Lawrence was very good, he never packed Fulton County Stadium the way that Prime packed the Georgia Dome. And birdman, if you have to ask people do they remember Ken Reeves, then he probably shouldn’t be in the Ring of Honor because he’s forgetful. Just a thought.

@JustMyOpinion09 – You hit the nail on the head. It is more of a lifetime achievement award for Deion. Yes, he’s a braggard, but a great character guy. Probably the most high-profiled player to ever don a Falcon uniform. Also, if Vick stays on the straight and narrow for the rest of his career, I believe he’ll be up there too.

@Birdwatcher – I think PETA and the SPCA will make sure that MV7 never receives that type of honor (not to mention the fact that he lied to Blank).

The dog-fighting is one thing – but killing 7 dogs in an afternoon for the fun of it is quite another. I was a big backer of the guy and wish him well – but definitely don’t think it’s appropriate to bestow honors on him.
