Atlanta History Center free

I recently discovered all that the Atlanta History Center has to offer. The museum is now featuring the exhibit: “With Malice Toward None: The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition.” The Atlanta History Center is the only venue in the South to host this traveling exhibition organized by the Library of Congress. For Bank of America cardholders, admission to the museum is free Oct. 2 and 3.

Also free this weekend for cardholders who present identification:

Booth Western Art Museum and Tellus Science Museum, both in Cartersville, and the High Museum of Art. The High Museum is also free on Saturday for Fulton County residents. Also, here’s another discount for the Booth Western Art Museum:

The works of Ansel Adams will be featured at the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville. Use this Family 2 Family coupon from wsbtv.com to save $2 off the price of admission. This is largest temporary exhibition in the museum’s history, and runs from Sept. 25-Feb. 11.

“Testaments of the Heart” Free tonight

“Testaments of the Heart” is, as AJC writer Bo Emerson describes it, “an unusual concert of music from various artists, all composed in concentration camps.” The free concert is tonight, Sept. 28, at Emory University’s Schwartz Center for Performing Arts. Musicians from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Georgia State University Orchestra and Emory’s department of music, among others, will perform several of the works.

Want to do everyone in your family a big favor? Pass on the government-approved Lincoln exhibit and find out the truth about Lincoln. Go to Amazon.com and purchase “The Real Lincoln” and “Lincoln Unmasked” by Thomas DiLorenzo. This fantastic scholar has written two outstanding books fully of citation and quotes from Lincoln himself that show the true nature of the man that everyone unwittingly holds in high regard.

Thomas DiLorenzo? The guy that said the CSA had a right to secede? No thanks. The South lost, get over it, it’s only been 150 years.

Rana, thanks for the tip on City Deals. The AMC package will come in handy!
