In our divorce decree it states that I am to pay for our son’s half of the daycare bill and my ex pays for our daughter’s portion, but both at the same daycare. I am the custodial parent and he gets the option to claim the kids every year if he pays me the difference of what it would be if I claimed them. Can I claim the full amount of the daycare costs or only half?
Also have a question about alimony. It states that the alimony is $1334 a month for him to pay, but that amount is off-setted by our joint debt so he actually only pays me $517 which comes out of his paychecks every month. Do I have to claim the $1334 or just $517?
