Been to Cinemark several times, theater is old & outdated but I guess you get what you pay for. On the flip side when you order Popcorn, they give you FREE refills. Overall its great savings for large family.

I’ve been to Venture Cinema in Duluth and it is somewhat spacious, the food is ok, the service is good..I guess my only complaint would be that the seats feel hard and are dirty, other than that it is fine.

I’ve been to Venture Cinema many times. It’s not a bad place at all. Sometimes the crowd is noisy (lots of children), and yes, the seats are not the most comfortable, but it’s a great value for $2. The theater is always running a special, such as free popcorn, free horror movie night, and two-for-one admission.
It’s always clean when I go there.

Fayetteville, Lawrenceville, and Duluth?

How about anything near Atlanta? Or at least within a half hour of 285?

Note the theatre in Marietta is cash only! I made the mistake of driving out there one night with only a CC. :(

Another GREAT post Rana! Rockledge Apartments in Marietta just announced a collaboration with Dragon*Con and will be showing FREE independent films each month by local filmmakers in their 80 seat movie theater starting in May! Here is a link to the story…

Love going to the one in Marietta-it is cash only which stinks…but then again the place stinks! A little febreeze every now and then didn’t hurt anybody! But for a dollar I can take my daughter and if she throws a fit or falls asleep no great loss. It’s still cheaper than renting a movie.

Cinemark Movies 10 is great. They sometimes get the indy films that miss the nearby big theaters, which is a real treat. Best option is to go during non-peak hours to avoid the crowds and the folks that have not problem with talking and texting through a 75 cent film.

And Fayetteville ain’t that far from Atlanta… granted, it’s far from Buckhead and the above I-20 areas, but y’all rich folk don’t need dollar movies anyway.

Town Center Value in Lawrenceville is pretty clean and the chairs are comfy but you do feel like youre going to slide out of it. But hey its a great deal in this economy. They are also cash only so please bring your change!!

Discount or at regular price…use of a cellphone and talking during a movie is distracting and rude if others are present.

Anyone remember the dollar theater in Lawrenceville? I think the strip mall is not a Phoenix School now. I remember as a kid going to the baseball card shop next door and catching a flick for a buck. Fun stuff.

been to the venture cinema in duluth before. It was located in the “santa fe” mall. Needless to say it was very international. They do seem to have more selection, but I would not recommend going at night. probably wouldn’t be safe.

Marcus….remember when you’re trying to sound superior, proper vocabulary is a must. I think you meant drivel.

The one in Fayetteville is very nasty. They dont clean up after each movie, the floor is sticky, the seats smell and the bathrooms are unusable. I’d rather pay the 9.50 to be comfortable and be able to use the restrooms.

I haven’t sat in a stinky, sticky, noisy, overpriced movie theater in over 10 years. Its great spending the money instead on a nice Home system. No movie is worth going to a theater anymore. I can wait a month for it to be on DVD or BlueRay and rented. Have fun suckers.

I’ve been to Venture Value many many times. I used to live right by there. Sound and Screen quality is good. At night it is safe, but on the weekends the parking lot fills up…I’ve also been to the one in Marietta, it shows many more childrens movies and has tons of kids during the day. I’ve never been there at night. Bathrooms are ok at both
