Buy one, get one free to see “Dinosaurs”
Dinosaurs used to be all the rage with the little one in our house. He’s now turned his full attention to the Transformers and Spider Man. Still, I know he’d get a kick out of the Center of Puppetry Art’s Dinosaur show playing through Nov. 29. The description of the show even has me excited: “Francine the songbird and her Great Grand-Auntie Archaeopteryx take an earth-shattering trip back in time to explore the mysterious lives of dinosaurs.” Here’s the most important part, though: Buy one full price ticket and get one free to the remaining Sunday performances. You can purchase tickets at the box office at 404-873-3391 or online at puppet.org. Purchase tickets at least 72 hours in advance and use promo code WSB.

Cavalia might be your answer: On Thanksgiving day, you can buy two adult tickets at full price and get two kids tickets at a discount of $11 when you use promo code, ‘Cavalia.’ These are for tickets on Thursday, Nov. 26 only, and tickets can be purchased by phone or at the door.

Save at The Glenwood
By now, you’ve probably heard of Halfoffdepot.com and Groupon.com, both of which have amazing deals every day. There’s a new player in town who is pushing for space, as well. Mydailythread.com is much like Groupon, with a deal of the day concept. However, the site does give you a better description of the featured merchant, with a full-blown article. It’s a nice touch. There’s also usually an additional bonus. For instance, today’s deal is $15 for a $35 value, and it also includes an hour of shuffle board at the pub for free.
