Best Black Friday, shopping deals on the hottest toys

The 2009 Toys ‘R’ Us Black Friday ads have been leaked, but while there are plenty of terrific deals on the site, the toys the that retailer, along with BestToysGuide.com, has deemed the hottest of the season are not among those Black Friday deals.

Check out this photo gallery of the hottest toys.

I’ve looked around for the best deals on the year’s hottest toys, and this is what I’ve found:

Bakugan Maxus Helios 7-in-1:I found this toy on sale on Amazon.com for $48.87, but the Maxus Dragonoid is cheaper, at $34 on the same Web site. Maxus Helios is cheaper at Toys ‘R’ Us, for $34.99, but the Web site says its currently out of stock. If you can get it there, you can get a free Bakugan Battle Training DVD with any Bakugan online purchase of $20 or more.

Mindflex: This might be one of the toughest finds of the holiday. Walmart,Target and Toys ‘R’ Us were all out of stock on Monday, but Amazon had it available for $141.65.

Nerf N-Strike Raider Rapid Fire CS-35: Target may be your best choice here, at a price of $29.99. Plus, you can go to Target.com and use coupon code TC9NOV22 to get a $5 off.

Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Learning Game: Walmart, Amazon and Toys ‘R’ Us are all selling this toy for $69.97, while Target is considerably more at $79.99.

Tiana doll: The Disney princess doll is $24.88 to $26 at all of the major retailers. The problem will be finding it, as this is another item that is flying off shelves.

Nintendo DSi: Expect to pay $169.99 for this item.

Zhu Zhu Pets: Good luck finding these cute little pets. Many stores are already out of stock. Amazon has them for about $51, but it doesn’t include any of the accessories for the fuzzy faux hamsters.

Construction Devastator: Save by just buying this at Amazon for $69.99. With free shipping, it’s about $8 cheaper than any other place out there.

Star Wars Fan’s Choice Anniversary Edition Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser: This is a Toys “R” Us exclusive for $99.99.

Crayola’s Crayon Town: This 3D coloring set is about $19.99 at Amazon and Target.

Have you found a better deal? If so, post it here.

That Tiana doll was plentiful at Target this weekend. Both alone and along with the 7pc set of all the disney princesses. The doll alone was about $25, while the 7pc set was about $60. I’ll pass. Especially since it was only one row over from another black barbie that looked EXACTLY like the same doll, only in different clothes for $5.

I can’t wait to scoop up all this Tiana stuff for my little girl, but I will not be taken advantage of.

For the DSi check Gamestop locations, some will have these as used items (gently and tested before purchase, store also offers a warranty if you want). I got one of these this weekend for my son for 40 dollars cheaper than retail and it looks identical to new.

Does anyone know which site is the best source for Black Friday ads? I know there are a few sites but which one is usually right on the money or the most up to date? Thanks.

Tinytam – best one I found is bfads.net. They are very accurate and send email updates when stores add or change anything…

http://bfads.net is great for the BF ads and you can sign-up for an update every day so you know what retailers have been added to the site.
