Cavalia: buy 2, get 1 free | Urban Nutcracker BOGO | Save on ‘Rockettes,’ ‘Wiggles’ and Otis Redding

Bargain on ‘Cavalia’

The show under the big tent is spectacular by all accounts. It’s also a bit pricey. I’ve stumbled upon this discount that may make Cavalia more affordable for families. A child’s ticket is free with the purchase of two adult tickets with the Family 2 Family discount. The offer is good on evening performances only. You can purchase the tickets by phone or at the Cavalia box office at Atlantic Station. Be sure to use promo code WSB-TV to get the free ticket.

You can also save up to 30 percent off on select shows by calling 1-866-999-8111 or visiting the Cavalia box office, using promo code Georgia Aquarium. The Web site isn’t clear about which performances this deal is good for.

Urban Nutcracker BOGO

The Ballethnic Dance Company’s annual Urban Nutcracker performance is Nov. 19-22 at the Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech. This is a contemporary African American interpretation of the traditional holiday Nutcracker ballet and is choreographed by co-founder Waverly T. Lucas II. Using the Family 2 Family discount, you can purchase two tickets for the price of one on all evening performances. You can purchase by phone at 404-894-9600 or by going directly to the Web site.

Save on Rockettes

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes at the Fox Theatre is a special and unique holiday event. You can save money on the show by using the Family 2 Family discount offered through WSB-TV, Nov. 19-Dec. 6. Use promo code WSBTV to save $15 on tickets on seats in price levels $65.50 and $45.50. Click here to see the promotion. Purchase tickets through Ticketmaster or the Fox Theatre online.

‘Wiggles’ Discount has discounted tickets to see The Wiggles Go Bananas, coming to the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Nov. 8. Tickets are $10 off, with discount seats going for $20 for the 1:30 p.m. show. Enter the promo code ZOO when purchasing your tickets by clicking here. The Gwinnett Center is located 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway.

Otis Redding tickets reduced

Ticket prices have been reduced for tonight’s performance at the Woodruff Arts Center — ‘An Evening of Respect: A Musical Tribute to the immortal Otis Redding.” Tickets for this show started at $150, and have gone down since. Today, though hardly cheap, they range from $50 to $85, depending upon the seat selection.

Performances include tributes from Anthony Hamilton, Musiq Soulchild, Estelle, Kenny Lattimore, Chante’ Moore, William Bell, Eddie Floyd and others. Regularly priced tickets are $50 and $85. Purchase tickets online at or by calling 404-733-5000.

Hi Rena, how do you get the BOGO for the Urban Nutcracker? The link doesn’t offer the “deal”. Thanks!

Hi JJ.
I just called Ballethnic. I’m told you can’t buy them online; you have to call the Ferst box office and simply ask for the BOGO tickets. Again, it is only good for the evening performances.

You can also use the Radio City WSBTV promo code at the Fox Box Office and receive the discount and save on those pesky surcharges. I did and got really good seats to the Nov. 20th 8 pm show.
