The U.S. Department of Labor’s Women’s Bureau will sponsor a free forum Wednesday, Oct. 14 designed to highlight practical information about how funding received by state and federal agencies will be used to provide jobs, training, services, tax credits and contract opportunities for Georgians.
The event, “Economic Recovery: What Women Need to Know,” will be held from 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at Spelman College in the Johnnetta B. Cole Living and Learning Center in Atlanta. State and federal representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor, Health and Human Services, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and the Internal Revenue Service will be on hand.
