Comics sale
I’ll be the first to admit I know nothing about comic books. I know a lot of folks out there do, however, so this deal is especially for you. Top Shelf Productions in Marietta is having a huge sale on graphic novels and comic books Web sale. More than 100 titles — all for $3. They do ask that you hit a $30 minimum. Here are the details.
Stoney River Discounts
Fine dining comes at a cost. You can save a bit on dining at Stoney River by clipping the two coupons in today’s Go Guide in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. One is $10 off lunch for two, the other is $20 off dinner for two. No matter how much the bill, coupons like that can certainly help. Enjoy!
Good Braves deal
I know the Atlanta Braves are on a winning streak. I also know it will be incredibly tough for the home team to make it to the postseason. So, opportunities to catch them at Turner Field may be winding down this year. I’ve given you a couple of deals this week. Here’s one more: remember the Golden Moon Casino Pavillion seats, normally $28-$32, are only $6 for the rest of the season.
Free Art Exhibit
“The South in Black and White: The Works of James E. Routh, Jr., 1939-1946″ is on display at the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum at Georgia Tech through Oct. 2. The exhibit, featuring prints created by Routh from studies he drew on a tour of the region from spring 1940 to summer 1941, gives an amazing view of Atlanta 60 years ago. The museum is located at 500 10th St., N.W. Call 404-894-6663 for more details.

Would love the Stoney River coupon and bought the Sunday paper. Have read the entire thing, but can’t seem to find the “Go Guide.”

Never mind. Even though this came up in the scroll today, this was obviously part of Friday’s paper.
