DIY: How to spackle your wall

I spent last weekend on two minor home projects I’d put off for a months. At first intimidated by the thought of making matters even worse, I’d decided I’d ask a handy man to come over and take care of the duties. However, once I realized just how simple and inexpensive these jobs were — repairing a small hole in the hole, and releasing the jam in my garbage disposal — I gladly took it on.
