School Spirit equals FREE Yoreka! Yogurt

This will get your school’s mascot in the spirit for high school football season. On Saturday, show up from noon-5 p.m. at Yoreka! in Sandy Springs with your school’s mascot — from kindergarten to college — and every student from the school gets a free medium yogurt with three toppings of their choice. Mascots will get special VIP treatment and get to cut the line for their FREE treat. There will also be a live steel drummer and photo ops. So, show your school spirit and get a free yogurt while you’re at it. Yoreka! is located at 5590 Roswell Rd., N.E., in the Prado Shopping Center. Even if you don’t bring the mascot, there will be half-price specials.

$25 off at The Melting Pot

Half Off Depot touts this as its best deal ever. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I’ll at least give them a thumbs up on making this one available. Purchase a gift card off the site to get a $50 meal at The Melting Pot for $25. That’s a $25 savings. The fondue restaurant, with four metro Atlanta locations, can make for a romantic dinner.

Chocolate!

Don’t forget to go here to get your free chocolate candy bar (any bar made by Mars).

McDonald’s After School Snacks

I’ve done blogs about healthy after-school snacks; this wouldn’t qualify as one of them. But in terms of being economical, it’s a slam dunk. McDonald’s is selling its After School Coupon booklets — with 12 coupons in them — for $1. Inside you’ll find coupons for a FREE baked pie, FREE small apple juice or juice jug, FREE small ice cream cone and FREE apple dippers or FREE small fries. All for spending $1. Check it out on CouponGeek.com.

The Melting Pot deal is not as good as it sounds, it is $25 – not $20. It is the half-off site. I would get it for $20, not as sure for $25.
