50 percent off golf at East Lake | Free zoo tickets | Free cake!

Free Atlanta Zoo Admission

If you didn’t get to take advantage of the Bank of America customers’ option for free admission to the Atlanta Zoo this past weekend, you have another opportunity Aug. 8 and Aug. 9. Admission to the Atlanta Zoo is free for city of Atlanta and Fulton County residents for Family Days. It’s good for one adult and up to three children with valid identification. Half-Off Depot.com also has Zoo tickets for 50 percent off.

50 Percent off Golf at East Lake

For fans of par-3 golf courses, you’ll want to jump on this: 50 percent off a round of golf at Charlie Yates Golf Course at East Lake. It’s a Par 58 course, featuring primarily par 3 holes. The tee time can be purchased at Halfoffdepot.com for $13.50, and is good Mondays through Thursdays. This offer does not include a cart fee, however.

LiveNation.com

No fee Wednesdays is still in effect and for the first time includes not only amphitheatres, but includes more than 1,500 shows in theatres and clubs. There may be a better offer, though, in the buy one, get one free ticket offer. You’re paying for just one ticket, and it does include the service fees. The ticket can be purchased on Wednesday, Aug. 5, during the 24-hour period.

Free Kids Meal:

I recently alerted you to a host of free kids’ meals — one for every night of the week. This week I found another good one: a free kids’ meal every Tuesday with the purchase of an adult entree’ at Folks Southern Kitchen in Marietta. The address is 2031 Cobb Parkway, South in Marietta.

Happy Birthday!

Pizza and birthday cake only go together at a kid’s birthday party. Still, you might like the idea of trying out Domino’s new Chocolate Lava Crunch Cake for free on your birthday in August (must show I.D.). If it’s not your birthday month and you’re still interested, you can get a free cake with an order of Domino’s BreadBowl Pasta. It’s carbohydrate city, but you just might enjoy it anyway. That deal is good through Sept. 13.

Dear Ms. Cash, thank you for this list of freebies. My husband is a school teacher and we are always looking for ways to do things and save money. We are most interested in going to The GA Aquarium; (we have never been)do you ever find complimentary tickets for the aquarium? Thank you very much for all you do. Gloria Nelson
