Ludwig Symphony wants you to be its Valentine

The Ludwig Symphony Orchestra  will unwrap “A Romantic Valentine’s Day” program on Feb. 8 at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center.

The 7:30 p.m. performance will feature tenor saxophonist James Houlik performing Russell Peck’s “Upward Stream” saxophone concerto, soprano Megan Mashburn interpreting two Donizetti arias and Jose Luis Hernandez Estrada guest conducting Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture. Maestro Thomas Ludwig will lead the 80-piece orchestra in Brahms Symphony No. 4 in E minor.

WABE-FM’s John Lemley will serve as master of ceremonies. In this early Valentine’s Day celebration, every woman will be given a rose.
