Emory University is up to tricks and treats this week:

The Michael C. Carlos Museum is presenting a “Mummies and Milkshakes” program at 7 p.m. Friday,[10/29] including a look at real mummies in the Egyptian galleries followed by mummy cartoons and Abbot and Costello’s “Meet the Mummy” screened on the quad. $5 (Jake’s milkshakes extra). 404-727-0519.

At 8 p.m. Saturday,[10/30] Timothy Albrecht (”Count Dracula”) plays Halloween organ music at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts’ Emerson Concert Hall, followed by a candy reception. Free. 404-727-5050.

Then at 4 p.m. Sunday,[10/31] at the Carlos Museum, the Vega String Quartet will play a family concert of scary-fun music, including selections from Beethoven’s Ghost Trio, at the Carlos. $4. 404-727-5050.
