I’m sticking with the obvious and picking Jacob Lusk to go home:

I agree with everything you said, Rodney but I’d switch places with Lauren and Haley. I think Haley has developed a following.

RoHo: Sure hope you are correct – I can’t take any more of Jacob’s crappola performances.
K&C: I sure thought everyone who hangs out here was aware…….. But as one said, “Who cares” – you’re just a cool chick with whom I agree quite frequently, ie Lauren, Kelly……… I’m all for Lauren at this point, with James a distant 2nd.

I think Jacob will go home, but who will also be in the bottom 2? Lauren and Scotty are my favorites.

Bottom three, Lauren, Haley, and Jacob, with Jacob leaving. Notice how the stumping for the ladies was muted this week?

Rodney going out on a limb with this prediction. While I do think that Jacob had the worst performance, I would’t be surprised if Casey went home.
Sam-A, no worries. Most of the older regulars knew.

I’m with K&Cfan (like I often am): Jacob was the worst and should get the boot, but I won’t be surprised if Angry Man sings his final song… again.

Bottom 3: Jacob, Casey, probably Haley – please let Jacob go. Or at least Casey

RE: whoever said they thought K&CFan was a guy, it’s really hard to tell who’s what in this place! I thought for awhile Harm was a guy, but found out quickly she is a lovely lady. Has anyone seen her on here since we heard the news of her niece? I hope all is peaceful for her extended family!
Going out to dinner tonight, so am DVRing, and sure hope it’s bye bye to Jacob when I get home and run thru it.

Slezak’s recap for those who are interested. http://www.tvline.com/2011/04/american-idol-recap-top-6-season-10-carole-king/
As for the week’s trio of duets, it pains me to say they felt like something of an afterthought, little cups of sad cole-slaw that fill out your deli platters

Lauren is, unfortunately, going home tonight. It has nothing to do with her, her performance or her fan base. It has more to do with Ken Cook making the broadcast unwatchable last night, and the fact that her hometown folk had the storm. It’s likely her main base – Ringgold and Atlanta – didn’t call in the fervent way they otherwise would have and she’s going to suffer the same fate as JHud the night the lights went out in Chicago.

As k&cf pointed out earlier, Lauren is from Rossville(?) but that is in the same corner of Georgia that got hit very hard. Still, calling would be difficlt up there…especially when the show was on about the time they were getting hit.
However, like JHud, if Lauren doesn’t have enough fans to keep her singing WITHOUT the hometown crowd adding their votes, then maybe it IS time for her to go.

Loved the quote, k&cf. One of my favorite Slezak-isms:
Jennifer Lopez dressed as a tasteful figure skater. Randy Jackson imitating a dandy school boy. And Jacob Lusk channeling a pre-makeup Fizbo the Clown.
I mean, how perfect is that?

My guess for the bottom three:
Casey
Haley
Jacob
Who goes home?
Casey

My guess at bottom 3 would be Jacob, Casey and Haley (though I think she should stay).
My guess as to who got the lowest votes …Ken Cook!

While I still think Lauren’s going home, I hope it’s Casey. He can watch himself perform in a mirror if he wants to entertain himself. He doesn’t need to waste show time entertaining himself. After all, he stopped trying to entertain the audience several weeks ago. His performances lately seem very self-absorbed. The JLo kiss was just creepy, and yesterday’s performance was just creepy.
