If you want to live in Ryan Seacrest’s Hollywood Hills home, it’s for sale for a mere $14.95 million.
He purchased the home from Kevin Costner for $11.5 million in 2006. I have no idea what improvements he put into it, but the story says it has been remodeled under Seacrest’s watch. It’s a 10,000-square-feet Mediterranean-style home with six bedrooms and 6.5 baths plus a guest home. It sits on an acre and has a great view of the city. It has a tennis court, a pool and a wine cellar.
He hasn’t commented about the sale yet so we have no idea why he’s doing so. Given his financial situation, it’s certainly not because he has to.
Architecture Digest did a story about the home in 2008.
- Here is Steven Tyler’s take on the National Anthem before a Bruins game. Not his cup of tea though some said he “butchered” it. It wasn’t that bad.
-Remember John Park from season 9? He almost made the top 12. The Korean-American tried out for the Korean version of the competition and came in second. Understandably, some criticized the show for letting an American compete.
-Carrie Underwood’s “Mama’s Song” radio airplay watch: the song over the past 12 days has seen its airplay increase about 15 percent to 5,001 spins from Oct. 18-24, up 414 spins from Oct. 11-17. It moves up No. 14 from 15. Why? Kenny Chesney’s “Boys of Fall” fell off the current chart to recurrent although it still has more spins than Carrie’s song. It’s just a rule Mediabase has set to help new songs move up the chart. The song remains 439 spins behind No. 13 song, Jason Aldean’s “My Kinda Party.” She is about 1,200 spins behind the No. 10 song. Good news for Carrie is three songs are already losing steam in the top 12 and she has a 350 spin lead over the No. 15 song by Trace Adkins. So her chances of getting into the top 10 remain solid. Top 5? We’ll see.
