Hey everyone! Just wanted to stop in and say that the skinny girl with the cute face CANT SING! Female vocalist of the year? Yea right! The voters must not have noticed that Carrie and Martina were nominated I guess. Good song writer however she needs to change her teeny bopper love subject of most all her songs. Entertaining on stage yes. Can strum a guitar a little but she cant sing.

OK I am done the soapbox is back in place with minimal damage. I hope all you guys are doing well.

I know that “real” people view it as a hoax, but I’ve already had to deal with one person that was starting to panic over the whole end of the world in 3 years thing. Sheesh, the world can’t end in 2012, I need to be here for the solar eclipse of 2017.

D – “Precious” is such a downer movie, and I just feel really low right now reading all the sad news about injured people – I’ll be praying for your Lt. Dan too – I’d hold off on “Previous” for the moment if I were you. For “uplifting”, hubby and I had a great time at “Pirate Radio”. Brought back memories from my childhood, living in the Old Country, listening to Radio Luxemburg. Fab cast – Bill Nighy, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rhys Ivans, Kenneth Branagh, and Emma Thompson in a bitty, but unforgetable part. Oh, the music!

Also enjoyed “2012″. It was exactly what I expected – a bit of “Poseidon Adventure” here, some “Earthquake” there, no emotional involvement whatsoever. Fantastic special effects. Woody Harrelson a hoot. Director Emmerich a bit of a coward though. Saying he didn’t want a Fatwah come looking for him, he ruins every Christian edifice he can find – the Vatican, the Christ Statue in Rio – but lets Muslim buildings stand.

And btw, that “Mayan calendar prediction” is a total hoax.

New blog entry folks! I’m listening to “Red Guitar” on Kris Allen’s new CD right now. I hardly ever get advance copies of any of the “Idol” CDs but for some reason, Jive actually sent one to me! If you like Kris Allen, I think you’ll like the CD.

Both my boys are reds. Brian is a strawberry blond and Greg is a deep auburn. I just got some red highlights…natural, back when my color WAS natural.
