Rickster, yes, washer is under warranty. That’s why it took so long to make the appointment – Sears had to reroute it to someone else, who would hang up on me. My appt was between 8 and 12 this am. Ten to 12 I called to see where the repairman is – have other appt at 1:30. He called two minutes ago; he’s “on the way”.

I just had a great idea that will protect Ryan and help end the war in Afghanistan.

Step 1: Show the Stalker a picture of Osama Bin Laden.
Step 2: Tell him that – as a precautionary measure – Ryan has had plastic surgery to look like the picture, and moved to a cave in either Afghanistan or Pakistan.
Step 3: Tell him the judge has rescinded the restraining order and he’s free to go find him!

K&C Fan, I truly love every single song. I’m on the third play-through this morning and still adore it. I think she’ll definitely bring the emotion when she performs them live, too. She’s really great in the live performances I’ve seen (CMAs, etc.). I can’t wait to start singing Cowboy Casanova and Undo it.

Heather, YES! I’m definitely loving Play On. I don’t know if I like it better than Carnival Ride, but I seem to not skip songs like I did with that one. Her vocals are spot on, and I’m finally feeling a connection to some of her lyrics. I hope she can perform the crap out of them live. Not the vocal piece, but the emotions attached. I wanna feel the music…like it happens so easy with Kelly. (Why she’s still my #1, btw)

Undo It has single written all over it. So does Songs Like This. I’m loving Quitter, This Time, Look at Me, and Unapologize. So, basically almost all of it.

wow, Rick, LOL…. thanks for thinking of me!!! Actually… either way? ANd me an English major. Sheesh. No, i guess my original intent was an inexpensive yet representative gift for hubby for our 40th anniversary. I started to say “my anniversary” but…somehow THAT makes no sense, right? I mean, i THINK he was with me all 40 years!

aneeeeeway…. the anniversary happens to be the same day as the Auburn at Georgia game, and since it’s in Athens and hubby works at a popular Bar in Athens … i don’t think i’ll see much of HIM. I was thinking maybe fixin’ a nice breakfast for him to come home to… but who knows. Of all the home games for GA that is the ONLY one that i would never ask him to take off work… he says the Auburn fans are the best behaved, the best tippers, the most fun of any rivals of UGa. So. Guess my anniversary is spent with a good book, LOL.

So, thanks to Highlander, I am listening to the new Carrie CD at work. It’s incredible. Wow, that girl can SING! I’m so impressed with this disc. Vocally, she shows lots of power and range. Lyrically, some really great stuff too. Honestly the best CD I’ve listened to in AGES. I think Cowboy Casanova is still my favorite song, but the one called Undo It is bound to be a HUGE hit for her too. Wow. (I like it, can you tell?)

At home, waiting for the Sears repairman (month-old washing machine BROKE: took 1,5 hrs to set up appt) so I got to see Carrie Underwood chat and sing on “Regis”. She did well, showed brains and a sense of humor about the ugly dress (”I feel like I’m wearing wrapping paper”) a stylist must have picked out for her. Seemed comfortable about hockey-playing b-f gossip.
