This song is not doing well. Not at all. It isn’t getting radio play, and it’s not doing well on iTunes either. Adam will not have a Top Ten hit with this one. The first-week sales will be the lowest for an Idol contestant in a long time.

It’s OK…the song is very typical and generic…and really does not do too much to showcase his singing talents….I’m sure it will get plenty of radio play….but a year from now you won’t hear it at all….but for a first single it should do OK

When JORDIN released TATTOO, it was also radio-friendly as it did not really showcased her great voice. It was teeny-boppy. Still, it went DOUBLE PLATINUM.

Many people were complaining about ADAM not having a radio-friendly voice. Now HE proves them wrong. I am confident that HE has songs that will really showcase his GREAT VOICE.

As he noted many times before, his album is a FUSION. Therefore, I am not surprised at all with this first single. Besides, I love ADAM.

It’s doesn’t grab you because his powerful voice is not out front! I know he or the powers that be want him to get radio play as well as fans who like Ga-Ga but his fans were drawn in by his VOICE! Covering it up with music from a mixing board is a real loss for those of us who like the raw real vocal scaling he can do. If you want to listen to this stuff you can buy CD’s by people who really cannot sing and need to cover their poor vocal ability like Spears.

He was such a stand out on AI–due to the vocal pyrotechnics and just plain old fashioned belting-it- out. Because his voice is so unusually great–with octaves that give you a chill that is what magnetized people to him. Hopefully, there are better tracks on the CD.

Meh. I love Lady GaGa, Adam is no GaGa. It’s ok, I wouldn’t change the radio if it came on, but I’m not going to download it.

Thanks, Rodney for the post. Deirdre, I agree with you, it does seem to be generic enough to attract an audience. I expected Adam’s voice to not have been so processed. It is a catchy song, though.
