Did I miss something, or is there an actual interview with Paris posted. Paris is very talented, but she needs some direction. It doesn't sound like she has anything going on in her career. Nothing. If she can't use her family connections to get the job done, she needs to go outside them.

Her daughter is a year old now, and Paris needs to get out there and work in the business. If she needs to do what other Idols have done--go work on the stage for a while, she needs to do that. Talent isn't enough. She needs good management, a good agent, some good music, and an opportunity to work. She had plenty of potential when she left Idol, and for the most part it's going to waste.

Good Morning Everybody.......

Today's Quote: "The truth can only shine through open minds."

Thanks for the new thread Rodney, I think. Paris does seem to still be immature and not sure which direction to take. I wish her well in whatever she does with her life/career. I'm sure her first consideration and concern is her daughter, as it should be.

Forgot to mention: last night I watched an episode of Swedish Idol! Five guys performed; two were voted through for the final twelve, and the results presented two hrs later. Tonight five girls sing. Oddly, they all sing in English. And the THREE judges kept talking about "pitchy" performances. Finally the Swedish Ryan Seacrest (he looks like Ryan too, only more unshaven) asked, "what does pitchy mean? Why can't you use a Swedish word". After much hemming and hawing the judges agreed that "sjunga falskt" was the best translation (really means "not being able to carry a tune") but it sounded too harsh.

My first chance to check out the blog since I left Atlanta in a horrendous downpour Monday a week ago. They even showed pictures of the drowned city on Swedish television. Unbelievable. Did all the regulars make it through with house and home, kith and kin? Our basement was flooded.

Sweden is lovely, sunny, and in the first throes of fall. Chestnuts and yellow leaves on ground everywhere. Temperature 12 celsius. Forgot to bring warm sweater.

Rodney, you have an imposters' MySpace profile, the correct one is www.myspace.com/parisbennettmusic !!

The one that you referred to was sold to some imposter by her first record company :(

Highlander he left "elmiinated" maybe he did that for me, or maybe he left it because those two i's are buddies. Rodney has a soft spot for the letter "i"

On with the discussion, because typo's don't bother me especially considering the work load Rodney has. Judging by the picture Princess P needs some help in the wardrobe department as well.

Sheesh, Rodney, there are critics everywhere..even among friends.

Anyway, Paris, while not as snooty as she was in your first interview with her, still seems to have no interest in using the Press to help further her career. Not very smart if you ask me!

Oh, great, JT! Rodney went and fixed his typos, so now everyone will think we we're imagining things! Or they'll think we're delusional. (Well, ...I kinda am but no one's supposed to know. ...Or is that just a delusion on my part?) 8 )
