Wow, it's kind of pathetic how Adam fans remain bitter of his loss to Kris. I mean, really? Are you guys so insecure about Adam that you really feel that in order to be successful he needed to win American Idol? Kris Allen won fair and square, because either more people voted for him or people dedicated more of their time to helping him win. To spin a conspiracy theory about 38 million votes coming from one state is not only stupid, but incredibly desperate. Adam's music doesn't appeal to a wide range of people, it's that simple. Kris, on the other hand, has not only a contemporary sound, but a wide appeal. It's not rocket science. The only reason people think Adam has a lot more fans is because most Adam fans are, for the most part, crazy and belligerent. They are probably the same people who yell and scream and thrash around at concerts.

If there is one thing season 8 should have taught any of you, it is that you should always handle yourself with dignity and class. Too bad Adam fans are classless. Adam would be ashamed.

Harry, until you speak to everyone around the world, the majority of whom don't know who either Kris or Adam are and could care less, anything you say is just your opinion. The show has gone by the same rules for eight seasons, the winner is the person who can inspire people to call and vote for them over the course of two plus months, it's that simple. The show, like the music industry as a whole, has never been about who has the best voice, if that was the case then most of the people who have won wouldn't have even made the finals.

Kris is my favorite, I love his musical ability, the style of music that he performs, his passion for music, and the fact that he never gave up, despite the fact that the judges tried to manipulate the outcome. That being said, the show is over, it's past time for bitter Adam Lamber fans to move on. If you put as much energy and time into calling in for Adam on the night of the final two as you all have put into bashing Kris and posting on every message board in cyber space, then Adam would have won. But, you didn't, so move the heck on.

Right now, both Adam and Kris are at the same point. RS covers about Adam's sexuality don't mean anything. From here on out it's just about the music, and appealing to people outside of the idol fandom, who could care less about the stuff that you all are whining about.

Adam is still the best in the eyes of the majority of the peoples around the world. It's not really debatable if who should have won AI Season 8 because the show was obviously, and will always be, about who get the bigger number of text votes than about who performed better and best during that night or so. But overall, Adam wins the heart of the many. He will be iconic...

I am really proud of Kris Allen who had to put up with Simon pimping Adam all season. What was really great is that America voted for Kris Allen and placed him the Winner of American Idol Season 8.
Adam Lambert really likes Kris Allen and everyone is getting along fine with the Concert Series. However We have noticed a few Bitter Berts bashing Kris Allen on every newspaper comment box. Adam himself called the Bitter Berts tacky sore losers. Congrates to all the AI Contestants, you rock!

And to the person making fun of arkansas people only owning two TVs w rabbit ears, I would assume u have never been here. There is no room for ignorance. Kris is a better performer. He knows how to write , sing, and play instruments. That is a true artist or r u guys that dumb.Enter your comments here

I saw the show at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. Everyone is awesome! My favorite part was meeting most of the idols when they got off the bus. They took time with everyone waiting for pictures, autographs, and just plain chit chat. The band even greeted us outside. What a wonderful group of performers.

I agree about 90% of the time, but I have to think what a poorer world I would have grown up in if it were not for Shirley Temple!!! (not to mention her grandson who is a friend of mine and quite a wonderful person!) I DO believe they should not compete with adults for the same prize -- I don't know if I'd make two groups or three like nana, but... regardless, IF they were going to keep children, those two should have been kept over some of the others who WERE put on through at least at that level. And I have to agree, the "okay you made it to vegas, see ya'" was a bit harsh...no a LOT harsh!

Deirdre i'm basing my comments on the fact that they DO put some children through -- IF they do, they did the wrong ones; they SHOULD have a "junior" level with a different prize (scholarship maybe?) and put the kids up to 15 y.o. in that group, using your 16 y.o. minimum for the adult competition. ANd while i agree that MOSt of it is the parent(s), sometimes, like that little hawaiian girl, the talent is there and the desire and fun of performing is real. heck all kids LIKE to show off and show out ... but let the competition be amongst the similar age range and be a useful prize like a scholarship or something... i would have much more respect for AGT for that.
