I don,t know wether it is good or not for Adam to win,but I do know that he is the only one that has the stage persona and mega talent to fill the concert arenas. That is the true test of an American Idol. When the grammys are presented,every singer would like to be named entertainer of the year.Kris and Danny are good singers but Adam is the total entertainer.

Next week’s TV Guide has neat stories on the final 3. Kris’ story is unique in that he has done a lot of missionary work for kids, even once giving away his guitar to one. Shows a lot of character, american idol worthiness. My Danny vote will be going to Kris.

notanADAMfan, I don’t remember anyone making an Adam/Axel comparison, but there have been a few remarking on his bad Elvis impersonation. Right down to attempting the lip curl when he smiles after a song!

Actually, the most we’ve found out about ANY of the contestants has been this week during their visits back home. And that’s a shame. I don’t think anyone watches AI for all the ‘filler’ crap or to hear certain judges (okay, Paula and Kara) wax on about “artistry.”

I have never been an Adam fan, he creeps me out, so I hope Kris will win this thing. Also, in my opinion, Adam is playing off of Axel Rose. Has anyone else noticed that? He is just too weird for me. Danny and Allison were my favs, so now I will vote for Kris. Unless, he totally bombs on the finale, then I won’t vote at all. Anyway, just wanted to find out if anyone else saw the Axel Rose wannabe in Adam?

Highlander – that other site you quoted was from EW’s cover story on Adam, May 15. All the pictures were old, some from the start of Season 8, and the copy was by a besotted fan, expressing his crush on Adam, ruminating about the boy’s sexuality.

The USA today story in yesterday’s paper did the first real reporting on any Idol this season. Reporter hung out with the Top Three for three days and left the reader with the impression that being an Idol is darned hard work. Danny came across as being on the verge of a breakdown, so maybe it’s all good that he can go home and rest before the tour.

I for one think America got it right. I have said on here before that Danny, while possessing an incredible voice, performed the entire season like a cover band singer. Kris, who I actually did not think was very good initially, improved each week, and really showed excellent song arrangement skills. Adam, well, as I have also said before, he is the most unique performer and singer EVER on AI. Realizing just as many can’t stand him as love him, I felt all along he would be in the finals, though I agree with others that I don’t believe he will win as those who love Danny will likely throw their votes to Kris.

I don’t feel bad for Danny, he is a shoo-in for a recording deal. I really would love to hear him on an original song, and hopefully it is in the genre of Dance Little Sister, which I thought he absolutely smoked the other night.

Adam and Kris, two polar opposites, both excellent, as Simon said, this might be the best finals ever.
