Sergio Garcia is flying up the leader board in Saturday’s third round of the Masters.
Garcia is 3 under on the day, 7 under for the tournament, through nine holes.
Some of you may remember Garcia as the petulant Spaniard who used to be The Best Player Never To Have Won A Major, but is now just known as Serge.
He had a chance to win the British Open in 2007 but choked and blamed his defeat on everything but himself. After losing his chance at the Claret Jug to Padraig Harrington, Garcia uttered this Mike Krzyzewski-like quote:
“You know what’s the saddest thing about it? It’s not the first time. It’s not the first time, unfortunately,” Garcia said. “I don’t know. I’m playing against a lot of guys out there, more than the field.”
